Day One — Why have I chosen A level Economics?

I’ve chosen A level economics mainly because I think it’ll give me a window into our economic system, and a way of understanding what drives our society. I think a better ability to understand society probably means a better ability to change it, and that seems like something we probably need to do.

It might give me some level of understanding of how to manage personal finances later in life, which could be useful, but it’s not the point of economics according to one of the videos.

I really enjoy trying to pick apart and see how the world works, and economics seems like a great fit. I think it would also back up my other subject choices, and ultimately seems like really good way of analysing and changing the world.
